The parish's traditional St. David's Day
lunch has re-appeared in a new guise: in
the Parish Centre. It was a sell out.
The sun shone, and even though Wales had
lost to France, spirits were still
high. Margaret Hughes masterminded the
operation and her cawl was
mouth-watering. Following this we
partook of Welsh cheese excellent bara
brith, and Welsh cakes. We were
entertained by a variety of Welsh folk
songs and hymns by the Llantwit Major
Ladies Choir. Grateful thanks to all
who contributed to make this event such
a wonderful occasion. |
