This Sunday the clocks go back 1 hour & the long dark nights and the short not-so-bright days begin. After Mass this Sunday join us for a bowl of Hot Porridge or [1st in Wales] Hot Chocolate Porridge + tea/coffee, biscuits: all on the house.

Churches Together in Cowbridge and District - On Sunday 2nd November, at 12
noon in the Lesser Hall, Cowbridge, we will be holding our sociable, delicious home-made soup lunch! Tickets available from Joan Whitton. Bring your friends and family and have time off from cooking! Any proceeds go to the Mercy Ships.

An Evening with St Paul. To mark 2000 years since the birth of St Paul, Churches Together in Cowbridge and District have asked renowned scholar and speaker, Father Ambrose Walsh, to give a talk on St Paul, on Monday 3rd November, at 7pm for 7.30pm in the United Free Church Hall, Westgate, Cowbridge. Friday 7th November 2008, 7:30pm, Parish Centre - "Us & The World We Live In" - £3 entrance. Phil Williams (past parishioner) over 10 years has travelled around the UK speaking to businesses, schools charities etc.. totalling over 600,000 people. He will update our parish on his previous talk of nine years ago; "The World Within Our Shoe", which looks at the human impact, both cultural & environmental, on our world. Amazon artefacts
on display, Fair-trade Stall for purchasing items. Please support and help raise money for the parish. Suitable for children.

CAFOD Parish Support Group Moira Robinson is the new chairperson. Many thanks to Brenda Sheal to all her hard work over her years as chairperson. She replaces Moira as Treasurer.
