First Holy Communion - next Sunday, the Feast of Corpus Christi - Sunday 25th May 2008 - extra Parish Mass at 10:30am in Our Lady & St.Illtyd to celebrate First Holy Communion. All parishioners are requested to support our children on this special day. Please pray for Charlie, Esme, Ellie and Katie Jayne who will receive First Holy Communion on the Feast of Corpus Christi.
Youth Mass Many thanks to our young musicians and singers, and readers for their contributions to the Mass last Sunday. Youth Musicians - practice on Friday at 6.30 pm to prepare for First Holy Communion Mass at 10.30 a.m. on 25th May
Parish Events It is a sign of the vibrancy of our parish and the asset of the parish centre that there are so many events being arranged by different people and groups, to appeal to a wide variety of tastes. Whether you prefer a game of cards or a swim in the pool at the Parish Family Day, a strawberry tea, a coffee morning or a BBQ, we hope you will support the events that interest you. Only a modest charge is made for each.
All parishioners are invited to our Service & Procession in honour of Our Lady on Sunday 18th May, 3pm, Our Lady & St. Illtyd. All parish children are welcome to bring a posy of flowers to present at the Grotto.
Strawberry Cream Tea with entertainment by the RAF St. Athan Voluntary Band - Sunday 8th June, Our Lady & St. Illtyd from 3pm. Tickets on sale today; £5 adults, £3 children. Cakes for the Cake Stall are required, if you are willing to donate please indicate to a Guild Member.

Whist Drive Monday 2nd June at 7.30 p.m. In the Parish Centre. Cost: £1.50 at the door - this includes ticket and refreshments. If you have a portable one, please bring a card table.
