New Parish Centre constructed - November 2007

The construction of the new
Parish Centre started in Spring of this year, and was
completed in late July. This new Centre now provides
the perfect venue for many organisations to either meet,
hold their events, provide a larger area for Children’s
Liturgy, and also be used for serving refreshments after
Mass.
The Centre is built on the lawn side of the church, and has
involved alterations to the church, including providing an
new area for the piety stall and enclosing the front porch,
which has now greatly enhanced the overall appearance of the
church.
The centre is now fully operational. It was officially
opened and blessed by the Archbishop on Sunday November 25th. The
Sacrament of Confirmation was administered at the
Preceding Mass, which commenced at 10.00 a.m. A parish buffet
followed the event. |
