Cafod Harvest Fast day: Soup Lunch - October 2009
On Sunday 4th October, 60 parishioners and friends gathered in the Parish centre to enjoy a lunch of home-made soup with a bread roll, followed by a choice of a Danish pastry or a scone with tea, coffee or a cold drink..
Members of the CAFOD group made and served the soup, making good use of the kitchen’s excellent facilities and equipment.
Eleanor and Sean Macnamara set up a stall selling Fairtrade produce and were
very pleased with the positive response from those present.
